Accessibility

Eastland is designed to be welcoming and accessible for everyone, with a range of facilities and services to make getting here and getting around easier.
Pedestrian access is available via Ringwood Street, Warrandyte Road, Maroondah Highway and Ringwood Station. If you’re arriving by train or bus, simply disembark at Ringwood Station, cross Maroondah Highway at the pedestrian lights and take the short walk through Ringwood Town Square to Eastland.

Changing Places

Eastland is proud to offer Changing Places facilities, providing additional space and specialised equipment for people with disability and their carers.

You’ll find Changing Places on Level 1, North near Coles, and Level 3, South in Ringwood Town Square near Thai Alley. Each space includes a height-adjustable, full-sized changing bench, tracking hoist system and plenty of room for carers to assist comfortably.

Mobility Equipment

Need a little help getting around? Complimentary wheelchairs and motorised scooters are available to borrow from Guest Services.
There’s no need to book - simply visit Guest Services on Level 2, near MECCA.

Staebel Patient Transfer

A Staebel Patient Transfer device is available for complimentary use in the Level B1 amenities. Designed to assist people who can stand but may have difficulty walking, the device helps with transferring from a seated position, such as a wheelchair, and accessing the amenities.

For assistance or to use the device, please contact Guest Services on (03) 9870 8377.

Lifts & Wheelchair Access

Ramps and lifts provide wheelchair access throughout Eastland, including the East Side, West Side and Ringwood Town Square.

To find the lift closest to you, visit the centre directory and map and search ‘elevator’.
