400 Gradi East

Ang Ang
For an authentic taste of South East Asia Ang Ang delivers. Sister venue to the legendary Chinta Ria, this casual Asian-style diner means that you can enjoy all of your favourite Thai and Malaysian classics right here at Eastland. Go for your fix of pad thai, beef rendang or mee goreng, and when those comfort food cravings hit, you can’t beat Ang Ang’s creamy curry laksa. Just be sure to order the flaky roti with satay sauce, it’s a must-eat.
Brioche by Philip
Bathed in natural light, this French-style boulangerie and coffee house makes the ideal perch for meeting friends or breaking up a long day. Owner Philip Chiang’s was the head baker for Michelin-starred chef Paul Bocuse which means you can expect next-level everything – from croissants and Danishes to ‘bronuts’ and of course, brioche. There’s Five Senses coffee, Prana Chai, Mörk Hot Chocolate and freshly squeezed juice too. Be sure to pick up a loaf of artisan sourdough bread to take home.
Caffe Stazione
Located alongside Realm library and Ringwood Station, this contemporary cafe makes an ideal rest stop for families and commuters. For breakfast, you’ll find eggs on sourdough, bircher muesli, croissants and great coffee. At lunch, look for comforting Italian fare such as pasta, lasagne and pizza by the slice. Sweet tooths will find a range of traditional Italian sweets and pastries, plus a few Aussie-style favourites. There’s plenty of space for prams, and the outdoor terrace is a winner on sunny days.
Hunky Dory
Hunky Dory reimagines the traditional fish and chip shop to go one better – offering a healthy twist and a seat at the table. With updated health-conscious options appearing alongside your usual favourites, Hunky is a leader in new-wave fish and chips and makes a fine choice for relaxed family eats. Hunter and Barrel
Mealtime at Hunter and Barrel means tapping into your hunter-gather instincts and go fork-to-fork with your dining companions over the best slab of slow-cooked beef or coal-roasted chicken. Perfect for family dinners or date nights, this meaty eatery is all antlers, brown leather and wood-cabin warmth. You’ll need to come hungry because the servings are generous, and no aspiring BBQ pit master will be able to pass on The Hunter’s Feast sharing platter of steak, sausage, skewers and pork belly.
Kyoto Café
Serving authentic, casual Japanese fare, this relaxed café is feels a little like stepping into backstreet Kyoto.
