The new escalators will provide an enhanced, energy efficient and more reliable journey through Myer, and represent our continued commitment to the ongoing improvement of the Eastland experience. 

Works are scheduled to begin on Monday February 27, and while it’s still too early to confirm exact timings, we expect them to conclude in August 2023. 
The nature of the project means that throughout its duration the escalators in Myer will be unavailable for use. Customers will instead be directed to use Myer’s lifts.
 
To help our community find their way through Myer during this time, we will be installing extensive directional signage and updating the centre’s digital directories to reflect the temporary changes. 
Eastland and Myer will remain open as usual throughout these works, and we will be working to minimise impacts for our local community as part of our construction management plan.
